In the past 6-8 months there have been two big things that I wanted to accomplish in my business that just never happened.

Not because they didn't work, but because I never actually did the steps to make them happen.

When I take a step back and reflect on what kept me from taking action on them I've found the main thing has been the feeling of overwhelm.

Not knowing where to start.
Feeling like there is so much to do that it will never get done.
Not feeling like I have the time.
Getting started, distracted, and then never finishing.

Feeling like a failure...

Then the vicious cycle continues only feeling even more like a failure as time continues to pass.

If you can relate, then here are 3 things you can do that I've found extremely helpful:

1. Breakdown that thing you want to accomplish into teeny tiny bite-sized steps. Seriously the smaller they are the better. Then make a list of them so you can have that satisfying feeling you get as you cross each one off.

2. Find resources that help you to save time and get the ball rolling (not another large course that contributes to the overwhelm). Maybe it's buying a template, hiring out a portion of the project so you can cross one small piece off the list that has you feeling stuck, joining a live "get it done" workshop etc.

3. Take messy action. Sometimes it's just taking that first step that's the hardest, make sure you don't put pressure on yourself for it to be "just right" or a "huge success" and rather celebrate the fact that the first step is done 🎉.

The two things I've wanted to accomplish were to add more digital products to my business (as I'm a huge fan of more passive income) and be more consistent with marketing MY business, rather than always spending time doing marketing for my clients.

Want to know what the key 🔑 to converting your audience into buyers is?

So here are 3 things that your audience needs to know from you that provide clarity…

Sounds obvious, right? But it’s actually so common for people to muddle their messaging…

✨ 2. What’s the benefit for them?
Is working with you going to help them achieve that goal faster, easier, more fun and more simply than trying to do it on their own?

✨ 3. What’s the outcome?
The answer to this will go beyond just the top-level benefits or features. What transformation and impact will it bring to their life and/or business?

If you can answer ALL three of these succinctly then you're set!

Remember it’s always a good idea to look over your website, and your content just to check there’s no mixed communication going on in these 3 critical areas.

✅ Checklists: These are super actionable, provide a quick win for those opting in and give you an opportunity to pop some of your own teaching in there. (As well as a bit of personality.) These are super easy to create in Canva using one of their templates. Speaking of templates...

💻 Templates: People love them especially because they save them SO much time and let's be serious who doesn't want to save time in their day! Don't underestimate a template they’re so useful and valuable to your potential clients.

👩‍💻 A free mini-course: This one is great if you don’t have a funnel already working, as you don’t want to give people too many actions. You can send a couple of training sessions straight to their inbox and give them a real taste of what it’s like to work with you, while offering huge value.

AND my absolute fav...

😁 Workshops: Offering a free or low-cost workshop that solves one specific problem is a great way to build your audience and generate leads while providing incredible value. You can deliver the workshop by creating a pop-up Facebook group or going live on Zoom.

But most of all, the best type of lead magnet to use is the one that your ideal client will find the most useful, valuable and enticing.
