I know that none of us want to be thinking about the winter holidays yet. But can we admit that it’s probably the reason the last few months of the year sneak up on us?

One minute we’re enjoying the last days of summer. The next, we’re packing school lunches and drinking pumpkin spice everything. Then the Christmas decorations and Black Friday deals start showing up.

Thanksgiving is behind us, Halloween is around the corner, and Black Friday is coming up so so fast.

If you’re a business owner, we need to talk about Q4 already! Waiting until Black Friday to start talking about your Black Friday is such a big mistake.

In this post, I'm sharing practical ideas, examples for Nova Scotia businesses, and a Q4 holiday posting guide to help you figure out what to post and when.

One thing I see with my students and my clients all the time is waiting for things to be PERFECT before we post about them.

I think the messy middle is where the story is.

Many business owners, myself included, sometimes think that showing something unfinished makes us look disorganized, but there is a big difference between being unprofessional and showing the process.

We've talked about this before, but honestly, it's worth repeating again. A big, huge announcement doesn't have to be happening in your business for you to have something worth sharing. Sometimes the best content is just showing people what you're up to today.

Right now, my office is not ready for a house tour, and I'm not going to pretend that it is.

So I'm sharing the process, behind the scenes, of moving offices and trying to make everything work while prioritizing my clients and family.

Head to the blog to read the full post and hopefully get some inspiration on what to post next.

Please tell me I’m not the only one. 😂

I’ve been seeing these cartoony AI posts EVERYWHERE lately and I really don’t want to see another one.

Sometimes standing out means doing something completely different than what everyone else is doing. So let's be original again ok?

If you have ever stared at your phone wondering, ‘what the BEEP do I post on social media today!?’

One topic that came up recently while working with clients was content ideas.

Specifically, where do you find them when you feel like you've already posted everything you can think of?

The answer is soo simple.

Your customers are already giving you content ideas every day!

This week's blog is all about how to use your frequently asked questions for your social media.

Hello, October! 🍂

New month, new quarter, and officially the start of the final 3 months of 2026.
HOW the %& #$ did that happen?!

If there’s something you’ve been putting off in your business because it isn’t quite ready, consider this your reminder to just start.

Post the content. Send the email. Share the behind the scenes. Talk about the thing you’re working on, even if it isn’t finished yet.

October doesn’t need to start with everything perfectly planned.

Just take the next step.

What’s ONE thing you want to accomplish in your business this month?

Did your social media get a little quiet over the summer?

I feel like I'm in the same boat. I always start the summer thinking this is the year I'll find time to batch-post content so my business stays super visible all summer long.

But then summer actually happens, with vacations, camps, family commitments, and beautiful weather to enjoy. One missed post can turn into a full week, and then a week turns into a month. Suddenly you're looking at the calendar, realizing October is around the corner, and you haven't posted nearly regularly enough to keep your algorithm active and your social media platforms engaged.

You've officially ghosted your social media.

Since we're heading into spooky season, I want to talk about how to dig your way out of the social media grave and bring your accounts back to life before the holiday season hits.
