And the pension we were told to depend on? It may not be nearly enough to live on.
This isn’t what I pictured for this stage of my life.
But it’s also made me realize I can’t keep waiting and hoping things will somehow get easier. I need to create more options for my family and our future.
Maybe turning 50 isn’t about having everything figured out.
Maybe it’s about being honest about what isn’t working—and being brave enough to try something different.
