STAFF SPOTLIGHT ⚡️

Everyone say hello to Mr. Lucas Taibi 👋

Lucas is a Planning Technician here at UrbanSolutions, with an academic background in Geography and Urban & Regional Planning 🌆

Growing up in Hamilton & completing his Geography degree here at McMaster University, as well as the Urban and Regional - GIS (Co-op) program at Mohawk College, the city’s development has always been one of interest to Lucas 🏙️

At Mohawk College he gained valuable expereince in design and planning law. Through co-op, he gained knowledge and experience in the field of transportation planning and in the land development planning sector. We were thrilled to have Lucas a part of our term for two co-op positions and are delighted he has now joined the team full-time! ✅

Here at UrbanSolutions, his role includes:

☑️Diligence investigations,
☑️Policy research,
☑️Consolidating materials for development applications,
☑️Laison with various City Staff and project team members
☑️Preparing materials for various planning documents.

Outside of the office, Lucas loves to spend time with friends & family, DJ house music, travel, play soccer and cheer on Juventus⚽️

Ground breaking ceremonies are always special - today, Reiser Canada broke ground on their new 4.200m2 Canadian headquarters in Waterdown! UrbanSolutions started this industrial plan of subdivision in 2015 and it won’t be long until businesses start calling the area home!
