Without further ado, here are all the expert panelists that will be joining us for our Product Marketing Information Session on Thursday!

Jacob John is the Co-Founder of InsightHx, an end to end platform for clinicians dedicated to improving their preventive care programs with continuity and automation. They leverage data to generate actionable insights that help clinicians prioritize preventive care delivery. He joined Entrepreneur First (Entrepreneur First] ), the world’s leading talent investor to investigate issues in the healthcare space. He graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) in Aerospace from .

Derek Jouppi is the ex-COO & Co-Founder of Suncayr (inventors of SPOTMYUV), world’s first clinically proven UV detection sticker. His entrepreneurial journey began in the lab, filing patents, to clinical trials, and then finishing up in retail sales and e-commerce. He was granted a US patent, selling into 7000+ retail stores including Walmart, CVS, Boots, and 40+ major retail chains as well as winning over 50+ pitch and technology awards. He’s been featured on CBC, NBC, Fox, BBC, Forbes Under-30.

He’s earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Electrical Engineering from in 2019. As an undergraduate student he founded 2 startups, Pendulum Sensor and Omniply which makes it possible to create any thin film electronic device (such as sensors, displays, memory) on flexible substrates. He was with Entrepreneur First ( ) in 2021 as a Founder in Residence working on building another startup.

Olivier Côté is an associate, Growth Venture Co-investment Fund in Toronto, where he provides investment monitoring, due diligence and operational support to the team. Before joining BDC Capital, Olivier was a research analyst in mergers and acquisitions advisory at MNC Capital. He’s gained experience in indirect investing through internships with the Venture Capital Action Plan (VCAP) and BDC’s Fund of Funds team.

Jonathan Jennings is an Associate on the investment team at Framework Venture Partners. Based in Toronto, Jonathan helps identify investment opportunities, lead investment due diligence and ex*****on, and assist Framework Venture Partners' portfolio companies on various ad-hoc initiatives.

Katheleen is a Venture Capital Investor on the investment team at StandUp Ventures. Based in Toronto, Katheleen helps develop investment theses, source and screen startups, conduct due diligence, support pre and post investment pipeline management, build investment memos and financial models, and contribute to investment decisions.

Prior to Venture Capital investment, Katheleen worked for 2 years in Product Marketing & Growth, where she was responsible for operations, growth, research, analytics, digital marketing, stakeholder management, user experience, and customer success. She was also the Co-Founder of Lifescape, a startup tracking technology that analyzes relationships between lifestyle factors, delivers individualized actionable insights, and promotes positive behavioural change.

Prior to venture capital, Jonathan worked for 3 years in public accounting where he focused on financial reporting for growth technology organizations and large private businesses, and the last 4 years in consulting at KPMG where he led high profile projects related to corporate strategy initiatives and co-founded KPMG Canada’s blockchain and digital asset practice with a group of amazing individuals. While working at KPMG, he was responsible for designing the overall go-to-market strategy, scaling the team, product rollout, and building KPMG’s brand within the blockchain and digital asset space.
