This has taken a long time for me to come terms with in my heart and head. My rotator cuffs have not really improved despite physiotherapy since September of 2025 and cortisone shots in my shoulders. Obviously hooping items for embroidery is extremely difficult for me, as well as painful. I have enjoyed machine embroidery business since July 27th 2012, so almost 14 years. I thank all of my customers for their orders and friendship. I will honour the orders that I have on my table right now and any orders that have been already discussed with me for in the near future stitching. I MUST really slow down with using my shoulders so much. So, it is at this time that I announce an early RETIREMENT, effective immediately. It is time for me to look after my health. Thank You to all my dedicated customers of over 1,400 invoices over the years.

Both my rotator cuffs are not getting better. I am doing physio therapy twice a week, and not noticing a big change. I will NOT be embroidering during the month of December and will make a decision in the new year whether to continue with my embroidery business, go to part time (stitching only on specific days of the week), or retire. My original thought was to retire July 27th, 2027 but my shoulders are in distress right now, and need a total rest. If you have already been in touch with me, I will be doing your order request ~ but I will not be taking on any new business at this time.

I will be sending my embroidery machine in for an overhaul and tune-up very soon and ceasing business for the months of June and July. July will be a super busy month for our family as our son is getting married. Therefore me taking July off will leave me stress free. I will see customers in August. Thank you for your understanding.
