This is HOW to use it 👇
STEP 1 — Gather your tools:
• Shovel
• Hand trowel
• Wheelbarrow
• Leaf rake
STEP 2 — Loosen up the patchy areas by raking out dead grass and debris. This helps create good seed-to-soil contact for faster germination.
STEP 3 — Grab our Mini Overseeding Bundle:
• 2 Black Garden Soil Totes
• 1 Overseeding Blend (10 lb)
STEP 4 — Mix together:
• 40 scoops of soil
• 1 scoop of seed
STEP 5 — Spread the mix evenly over bare spots in a thin layer (about 1/4 inch). Two light layers work better than one heavy layer to avoid clumping.
STEP 6 — Lightly rake the mix into the soil for even better seed contact. If you have a lawn roller, gently roll the area to press the mixture down.
STEP 7 — Water lightly but consistently. Keep the top layer damp, not soaked.
🌱 Seed should germinate in approximately 4–12 days depending on conditions. Once the grass begins growing, you can reduce watering to every other day for a couple of weeks.
