Meet Nadeen of 🫶

I’m Nadeen, founder and creative behind the local jewelry brand, Yellow String Co! I am a recent Architecture graduate and I started Yellow String in 2022 during my first year at university. Craft and creativity are major parts of my life, and I love making things with my hands. Throughout a lifelong love of beading and jewelry making, Yellow String Co. grew to become my very own space where art and personal style mesh in new and unique ways.

Yellow String Co. is all about joy, confidence, and high-quality handmade goods. Each item tells a story with its gorgeous collection of gemstones and freshwater pearls!

A small business is not just about the products someone sells. It is about the culmination of all their hard work trying to start something new for the first time. The mistakes made when learning along the way, that very first market, and all the customers we personally remember are all a part of what make small businesses worth your time. There is so much beautiful chaos behind the scenes, and yet we persist because it all becomes worth it when we find those who really connect with our work. A purchase from a small business means way more than you think. Whenever I’m working a market and a customer loves something I made so much that they take it home with them, I feel so incredibly happy. That community and connection is what makes small business owners like myself keep going.
