✨Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.✨

You are here. Found you‼️

But I understand that where you are right now, isn't exactly where you want to be.
It takes a strong desire to get from where you are now, to where you want to be. 🔥

What exactly does “creating yourself” mean❔

It means to become who you always dreamt to be. To find yourself it means you already exist. Now all you have to do is to search for it.  And once you’ve found it, the journey is over. Unfortunately, it’s not that simple.🌱

So how do you do it❓

♦️Let your desire lead you to your creative core. When you get there, tap into it.

Visualize the life you want to live. Feel it. Smell it. Create a picture so vivid in your mind's eye that it feels like you are already there. 👁

✨Hold on tightly to that feeling. ✨

◽️Create a plan (vision board) that allows you to escape this survival style life and step into the life you desire.

Remember, creating the life that you deserve,
takes a whole different level of commitment and effort❗️

It will demand a new version of you.

All the tools and equipment you need to upgrade yourself, are waiting out there.
You can build what you want, how you want, and when you want. ✨

Don't worry,
You can't use up creativity.
The more you use it, the more you have.

So, create to your heart's content❕

✨Why fit in when you were born to stand out?✨

No one is you and that is your power.🔥

The more you love yourself, the less you are like anyone else, which makes you unique.

Your uniqueness is your greatest asset‼️

Everybody is different, but we all have something in common. We all bring something different to the table. 🌱

If you spend all your energy trying to fit in with society’s expectations, you may not even know what you want to add to the world❕

You cannot reach your goals,
if you don't know who you are and what you are passionate about. 🍃

Passions provide much needed direction toward a goal or experience that will allow us to leave our own unique mark on the world.🕊

Embrace your individual uniqueness.
Accept the differences between you and others. Accept who you are.

The differences that separate us are what keep life exciting.

◽️Everybody has things that they are naturally good at as well as things that they struggle with on their own.

♦️Don't fear those that are different from you. Everyone knows something you don't.

Try joining forces with likeminded individuals that have unique talents and skills that you lack. 🤞

We can accomplish a lot more and learn a great deal from those that are different us.🙏

Every person has their own unique version of the world. We all share one big world, but we there are millions indivdual universes.✨

✖️Serve others from the overflow✖️

You may have this innate feeling to give yourself. Whether this be at work, at home, or with friends.

🔸You just know how it feels to need help and receive it (or not), so you want to be there for others when you can.

Completely understandable.
Completely relatable.

🔸However, when our cups are low and we are feeling stressed out, self-care is the first thing that goes out the window. It becomes hard to bring our full selves to the table.

🌱Self-care isn't self indulgence, its self preservation.

♦️How full is your cup right now? Have you been telling yourself that you’re just fine, because you’re used to saying that, when really you've been feeling low? Have you been putting up a front for others, so that they don't worry about you? ♦️

♦️Take care of yourself first.

Others may have cups that are bigger or small than yours. It may take less or more to fill their cups. But, they owe it to themselves to fill their own cups.

♦️Remember to give of you, only what is overflowing.

✨To fill your cup, do something that you love, something that makes you better:

🔸Reconnect with your senses
🔸Reconnect with childhood loves (drawing, playing music, sports, nature, etc.)
🔸Listen to your body. (Is your body or mind trying to get your attention? Do you need to slow down? Do you need to speed up?)
🔸Find pause in your day from work, school, the to-do lists, and expectations. 
Let those fall away, leaving space for clear thinking, inner awareness and inner calm.
🔸Create a daily self-care/replenishing routine

🕊Cultivate the habit of checking how full your cup really is. You might be surprised by how low your reserves have gotten.

🔹Often times, it’s the painful memories that we play over and over and they can wear us and bring us down.

🔹Memories of things we are ashamed of, confused by, saddened by, humbled by.

🌱We can't change the past, but we can change how we view it.

🔹Those mistakes that you berate yourself for have careffully and skillfully created the life you now live.

🔹No matter how messy, unpleasant or unfitting you think they are.

✨You are now stronger, wiser, healthier and happier.

🕊Look back with gratitude.

✨Thank your past self for having the courage, the strength, and the heart to move forward.

🔹It was through all of life’s predicaments, hurdles, and cringe-worthy moments, that we evolved.

🔹Your past experiecnces don't define, it provides you with a blueprint for your future.

I'm not where I want to be. I’m not who I want to be. This isn't good enough. I suck.

Your goal shouldn't be to get THERE today. Your goal should be to close the gap.✨

🕊Accept that you won’t be able to create or be the finished product on the first, second or even third try.

🌱We often underestimate our ability to grow, change, and adapt.

🔸It’s in the daily efforts where we start becoming the product. It's in the daily effort where we are able to see our improvements.

💪Understand that from ours struggles, our mistakes, and our challenges, our masterpiece is created.

🔸It’s the art of consistency that pulls us closer to where and who we want to be.

But, when will it happen?
It’s happening right now‼️

♦️Don't forget to stop and appreicate have far you've come.

🌱All things that are worthwhile in life, take time.

🔹Meanwhile, along the way, self-doubt often creeps in, saps our confidence and prevents our feet from moving forward.

♦️Self-doubt often asks me questions like: Are you sure that was the right desicion? Are you on the right path? Is this all going to be worth it?

🔹I've become aware that, self-doubt often makes us rationalize situations to fit our emotional state.

🔹We may be afraid to fail, afraid to look bad, afraid to take on more than we think we can handle. So we begin to make excuses for why an opportunity that presents itself isn't right for us.

♦️Do not entertain the voice of self-doubt. For it does not know who you are and what you are capable of.

🔹I find it helpful to notice what made the voice of self-doubt initiallly arise.

🔹Understanding and becoming cognizant of the why and YOUR why will give you strength on your journey.

✨You are worth it! Affirm your truth! 🕊

Letting go is never easy.🕊
It takes a conscious and consistent effort.

🔸Sometimes we wonder why we struggle to move forward. It is only when we take a second to glance down, we can find our past shackled to our ankles.

🔸The past is decpetively heavy.
The weight of the past holds us down and prevents us from rising to the next level.

🔸We have the key to free ourselves and run towards new opportunities, new people, and new places that are in alignment with our highest self.

🔑The key is allowing what comes to come, and what goes to go.

✨Accept what is. Let go of what was. Have faith in what will be✨

Practice Letting Go Of:

- Societial/parental/self-imposed pressures
- Perfectionism
- Identity labels
- Limiting beliefs
- Pride/ego
- Past relationships
- Bitterness/anger towards yourself and others

Remember, be patient with yourself - this will take time and practice🌱

🔹Courageously choose everyday to do something uncomfortable, that will make you better. Growth hides behind discomfort.

♦️Start with the voice in your head♦️

🔹Personally, I find it hard to do things that I want to do/try, because the voice in my head tries to convince me that I'm not good enough, outside opinions matter, or reminds me of the shame I've felt from making previous mistakes.

🔹In times like these, its helpful to think back to your past and remember all the things you've accomplished when you thought you couldn't do it.

♦️I'll be honest, it's not easy♦️

🔹It takes a lot of courage to leap without being certain that you will land safely.
However, over time, it becomes clear that fear and worry have a bigger bark than it does have bite.

✨We have everything we need to succeed, we just have to search for the courage to face fear head on. It starts within. ✨

Courage brings change.
Comfort brings stagnation.
The difference between change and stagnation is courageous effort.

So, choose courage over comfort always! 🕊

- Express yourself unabashedly.
- Let go of things that you've been holding on to, for far too long.
- Start that new business venture.
- Ask that person out.
- Give your all in workout regardless of who's watching.
- Seek out your limits, and surpass them.

The you that you are today, isn't your final version. It takes courage to see what you truly are capable of. It takes courage to grow. 🌱

Be Kind To Your Mind 🕊

🔸Typically, we might say we are fine when the truth is that we're fed up, exhausted, or even freaking out.

🔸When we go through the motions or don't express how we feel, we miss out on a change to connect for real.

🔸Remember there is nothing wrong with who you are and what you are feeling.

✨Ways to Boost Awareness about Mental Health and Improve Your Own:

- Frequently check in with yourself and ask yourself how you are doing and what you need (Be honest)
- Use and in your posts to be part of the online conversation
- Volunteer your time/Do random acts of kindness
- Practice active listening with others
- Stay active
- Make social connection a priority, especially face-to-face
- Get some rest, you deserve it

🔸Right now, you may be working hard with tunneled-vision focus on yourself, by yourself.

🔸However, it may feel like you aren't
seen, heard, acknowledged, appreicated, or respected.

So, why bother even trying, right⁉️

🔸What you are feeling is:
Completely valid, completely understandable, and completely relatable.

🔸Solitude can be both a blessing and a curse. On one side, we need it to recharge
our batteries and start fresh.

🔸On the other hand, being social creatures having a lack of social connection can be hard to bear at times.
(Especially in times like these)

But I get it❗️

🔸It can be difficult to reach out
when you feel like you're drowning
underneath a stormy sky,
and you don't want to pull others
down with you.

🔸Try keeping your hand out and starting small by:

- Make eye contact with someone and smile
- Joining a community
- Volunteering/helping others in need (there are Covid-19 friendly programs set in place)
- Reconnecting with an old friend

🔸However, during this time, remember to:

- Use social media wisely (don't compare your insides, with someone else's outsides)
- Journal (let your thoughts out)
- Clean your home (rid your sanctuary of stale energy)
- Listen to your favourite songs
- Move your body (workout, dance, run, walk, bike, etc.)
- Make yourself laugh (favourite comedy, stand-up, etc.)
- BE KIND TO YOURSELF

🔸Never forget, some days may be darker than others, but you are never alone.

🔸Applaud yourself! There were days when you thought you couldn't continue, but you are still here! :)

🔸Our culture is so focused on surrounding your self-worth with your net worth.
No matter the cost.

🔸Resetting isn't always easy, but the most important things in life, rarely are. I've found that remain present and regularly conversing with my inner self, allows me to understand and appreicate myself more.

🔸I find it harder to love myself when I don't actively spend time on/with myself. I found myself, only when I had the courage to turn off the light and sit in the stillness. I was amazed to see how bright I am.

🔸I realized taking a step back, doesn't mean you will be setback. Focusing on YOU, allows you to bring the best YOU forward.

♦️Benefits of Hitting the Reset Button♦️

- Increased levels of productivity
- Less stress and anxiety
- Improved mental health
- Promotes creation over consumption

♦️How to Reset?♦️

- Everyday spend at least 20 minutes with yourself (no devices)
- Spend time in nature (alternatively, move your body)
- Get great sleep with a set sleep schedule
- Schedule time to do the things you love (with the people you love)

🔸Today is the first monday of October.
A new leaf falls on this fresh, new page in your book. Take time to think, before you write.
