Security Systems Installer

Job Description: This is a full-time position, located in Hamilton ON. We are currently seeking a Security Technician experienced in working with access control, CCTV, IP/network cameras, security alarms, and intercom systems.
‪Installation, Programming, Maintenance, and Service of Various Systems
Responsibilities and Duties
Install IP Video Surveillance Cameras, VMS (Video Management Systems), NVR's and DVR's
‪Install Cat5e,Cat 6, Cat 6A UTP Cable, multi-paired, fiber optic and low Voltage Cables..
‪Terminations of Data Jacks, Install Cameras, Install Access Systems, Test and Troubleshoot Cables and Devices.
‪Use Laptop to Locate and Program Cameras on an IP Surveillance Camera System

Qualifications and Skills:

· 3-5 years applicable security service technician experience
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Intuitive when it comes to trouble-shooting fundamentals.
· Highly organized and attentive to detail.
· Strong computer skills.
· Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
· ‪Manufacturers Installation Certification would be an asset
· ‪Valid "G" Drivers License Record required
· ‪Must be able to pass a Criminal Record Check
· ‪WHMIS Certificate would be an asset
· ‪Working at Heights Certificate would be an asset
· ‪Scissor Lift Operator Certificate would be an asset
· ‪Occupational Health and Safety Act Safety 4 Steps Worker Health & Safety Awareness Certificate
· ‪Other Provincially Mandated Safety courses would be an asset
