Just acquired an early photo collection pertaining to aviation in the Hamilton Ontario area
The first aviation business in the area post WW1 was JV Elliot Air Service
Jack was a bit of a pioneer in aviation advertising and painted advertisements on many of his Curtiss JN4 Canucks .
I have also included many of his "air tickets ". He dropped tons of various advertising tickets around the city charging businesses for the service.
His last remaining Curtiss JN4 Canuck is also part of my collection and may well be one of the aircraft pictured .

The aircraft was a Travel Air 6000

Made from a blade of a Paragon Scimitar prop as used on the Curtiss JN4 “Canuck “. An unexpected discovery that I came upon by chance.
