Stronger for What Comes Next - a free experiential learning series for professionals navigating uncertainty, change, and pressure in work and life

Presented by Career Aviators in partnership with CoWork at The Cotton Factory.

RSVP: https://www.tickettailor.com/events/careeraviators

An experiential learning series designed to help professionals build practical resilience skills for navigating today’s growing uncertainty, change, and pressure in work and life.

Unlike traditional lecture-style workshops about managing change, this free experiential series is designed for professionals who are personally navigating uncertainty and want practical ways to stay grounded, think clearly, and keep moving forward.

Many people are facing multiple challenges, including workplace change, career uncertainty, rising costs, political and economic instability, climate concerns, burnout, and life transitions.

“Over the past 30 years, I have worked with people facing extremely difficult life situations, including families living with a child’s life-threatening illness and people supporting loved ones
through neurodegenerative disease,” said Wayne Greenway, founder of Career Aviators.

“More recently, I have seen how deeply professionals are being affected by long job searches, workplace disruption, rising uncertainty, and repeated disappointment."

"I created this series to bring practical, research-informed resilience skills to people in Hamilton at a time when many of us need to feel stronger, clearer, and more able to move forward.”

What a delight to have CoWork Members, the Bay Area Restoration Council (BARC), unfurl this incredible map in the Cotton Factory today --- Biinaagami, Our Shared Responsibility to the Great Lakes.

"The Biinaagami Giant Floor Map is the hearthstone of Biinaagami. This rich tapestry, which gives voice to the waters and amplifies Indigenous knowledge, is enriched with augmented reality (AR) storytelling that will transport you beyond the water’s edge and into its depths. The map comes with a teacher’s guide and curriculum-based lesson plans written by a team of Indigenous and ally teachers. The guide covers diverse subjects, such as treaties, from a two-eyed seeing perspective, aiming to challenge and educate learners about the Great Lakes — intellectually, spiritually, emotionally and physically, which gives voice to the waters and amplifies Indigenous knowledge, and is enriched with augmented reality."

We are excited to see how BARC uses the Map Project in future educational opportunities and community visits.

The experience we had today was very special, and we want to thank BARC for providing our community with a preview.
