Congratulations to TKMS on being named Canada's preferred supplier for the Canadian Patrol Submarine Project, and thank you to the Government of Canada for a decision that opens real doors for communities like ours. 🌊🇨🇦

We're proud to stand alongside Songhees Development Corporation and Des Nedhe Group Defence as part of this partnership, and proud of what it means for Glooscap First Nation to have a seat at the table on something this big.

For Glooscap, this is about our people. It's about young people who want to train, learn a trade, and build a career close to home in the marine industry.

There's still plenty of work ahead, TKMS and Canada now need to negotiate and agree on a final contract, but make no mistake, this is a major step forward.

To everyone in our community: this is your milestone too. Thank you for the support, the pride, and the belief in where we're headed together. We can't wait for what comes next. 🙏
