🚒🔥A Fun Day at the Fire Hall 🚒🧑🏼‍🚒

We had some special visitors at the Hartland Fire Department! A Kindergarten class from the community school stopped by for a tour, and we had a blast showing them!

The students learned about smoke detector safety, got to see firefighters in full bunker gear, climbed aboard the trucks, and even had a chance to spray some water at the school bus! 💦🚌😂

Who knows? We may have met a few future firefighters!

🚒💦 Tanker 3 is officially broken in!

After a long day of mutual aid assisting Woodstock Fire Department today! It’s safe to say that the new Tanker got quite the workout! 💪🏼 Hauling 26 loads equally almost 80,000 gallons of water!

Proud to lend a hand to our neighbouring department!

🚨🚒 IT’S OFFICIAL... HARTLAND’S NEW FIRE TRUCK IS IN SERVICE! 🚒🚨

And we have some very important THANK YOUS to share! ❤️👏

Our new fire truck represents much more than a new piece of equipment. It also represents the incredible generosity and community spirit of the many people who helped support its purchase.

❤️ Several donations were made in memory of former Fire Chief Mike Walton, creating a very special and meaningful tribute to his service to Hartland and our Fire Department.

🔥 Members of the Hartland Fire Department also worked hard fundraising and securing donations toward the new truck.

🏀🎉 We also extend a special thank you to John & Betty Lou Craig, who donated all funds raised through the Shore to Score event during New Brunswick Day weekend and the 3-on-3 basketball event toward the new fire truck. As the New Brunswick Day weekend activities are organized by a private community committee, we are especially grateful that the success of these events resulted in a generous financial contribution benefiting Hartland. ❤️

To every donor, fundraiser, volunteer, firefighter, business, organization and community member who helped, thank you! 🙌

During training this week, our firefighters worked together transferring all the equipment over. We’re ready to roll! 🚒💨

🚒 Firefighters National Memorial Day🚒

📆This Sunday, September 13th, we honour the brave firefighters who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities.

🇨🇦Flags will be flown at half-mast this weekend as we pause to recognize their courage, dedication, and selflessness.🇨🇦
