I believed I could, so I did (sort of). I went to the Fundy Fibre Artisan's Spring Fling on Saturday. I bought some little bits of roving and brought it home to try to spin it with my drop spindle. I MADE YARN! Enough yarn to knit this little piece for the wall. It looks like something I would have knit when I was 8 because the yarn is no where consistent, but I MADE THE YARN, and I love it. I thought I could. Now I need to work at it some more to get better at it. It just goes to show you are never too old. I'm hoping to try another craft soon. Stay tuned.
