🥶 COLD WEATHER & YOUR TIRES — DID YOU KNOW? 🛞
As temperatures drop, your tires change too!
Tire pressure drops. For every 10°C decrease in temperature, your tire pressure can drop approximately 2 PSI. That low tire pressure warning light might just be the cold weather talking!
Rubber gets harder. As temperatures fall below 7°C, many all-season tires begin to lose flexibility, which can reduce traction and braking performance.
Winter tires aren't just for snow! They're designed to stay more flexible in colder temperatures, helping provide better grip on cold, wet, icy and snowy roads.
Check your tread! Worn tires have a harder time gripping slippery roads, especially when snow and slush start building up.
Don't wait for the first snowfall to think about your tires!
We can order new tires, mount and balance them, or swap over your seasonal set.
