Hello September and Hello Fall🍂🍂

My favorite month of the year....and not just because it's my Birthday month. 🤭

I want to note that I will be taking time away from the office this month. I am surprising my kids with a trip to Disney on September 7. My husband and I always talked about taking our twins to Disneyland and wondered how magical it would be, for all of us. So this is it, our maiden voyage to Disney. While it's not how we planned I know Chris will be with us the whole time.

Does your banking package still fit your needs? Here are some questions to ask yourself;

💰Do you have monthly minimums or maximums?
💰Are you paying per transaction or paying a flat fee?
💰Are you paying for overdraft fees, if so do you need them?
💰Are you paying for monthly paper statements?
💰Are there any reoccurring charges that can be eliminated?
💰Do you have separate personal and business accounts?

Did you know most banks now have digital only monthly packages?? -->because who actually goes into the bank any more? These accounts often have low monthly fees.

🎉Celebrating a week of wins both in Business AND at Home 🥳

As we wrap up this week, I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge some of the incredible victories I've achieved.

💗I took a mental health day because you cannot pour from an empty cup. In respect of this day, I then said no to any activities that did not serve me.

👩🏻‍💻Had a meeting with a long standing client to discuss upcoming projects she has (and therefore I have) coming. This meeting boosted my enthusiasm and excitement for what I do and WHY I do it. I LOVE helping business owners with their day-to-day.

📞Booked two new discovery calls for next week - there are a lot of business owners (both big and small) looking for bookkeeping services.

📖Signed two new clients both have a mix of VA and Bookkeeping work.

📑I have been able to keep up with my continuing education course. Meeting deadlines I worried I'd struggle with.

💥I created my own content - something I seriously struggle with. I create content for others quite frequently, however I always let my content take a back burner

💖Had a lunch date with one of my best friends. I feeling so rejuvenated after stepping away from all of my responsibilities and taking that time to catch up. 😋

Each step forward is a reason to celebrate.

While I will not be going out to buy cards, I definitely want to take a moment to acknowledge my wonderful friends. I wouldn't be where I am today, both in business and life, if it wasn't for all of you!! 💖

Let’s think about this….

Lets say you’re charging yourself out at $150.00/hr. ⬅ We will assume you've have decided that your time is worth AT LEAST this amount.

Now, take yourself back into your office and start doing the dreaded admin work.....e-mail management, invoicing, cost tracking, bookkeeping, content creation etc…..How long are you putting this off? How much stress is this causing you? How many hours is this taking you? At $150.00/hr.......at what point do you start working for free or even losing money?

I am following up my post from Friday of last week asking you this question.

Of course you're busy, but what are you busy doing? It is productive and beneficial to your business?

A short time ago I started tracking the time that I spend on my business. Content and document creation, bookkeeping, office and document cleanup, email and inbox management etc. I review it every now and then and see where most of my time is going, is it a reasonable amount of time, am I spinning my wheels, is there anything I can automate, is there anything I should outsource to save myself time, is what I'm doing even beneficial to my business?

Believe it or not VA's even need VA's.
