Hi, my name is Candace Scheffer and I’m a mother to 3 very active boys ages 13, 10 and 6. I was lucky enough to be stay home mother for over 10 years. When my youngest son was approaching school age, I decided to return to school. I enrolled into the Educ
ation Assistant program and into the Early Childhood Education program at Northern Lights College. Between the two programs I have completed 13 courses in the last year and a half. I hold a valid first aid and child CPR Certificate. My criminal record check is up to date. During the school year, I’m the Strong Start Facilitator at Eileen Madson Primary School and Edgewater Elementary School. When I’m not working, or working on my school you can find me in a hockey rink. With 3 boys’ I’m a full-time hockey mom, hockey manager and board member for the Windermere Valley Minor Hockey Association. I’m looking forward to spending the summer outdoors with my children and yours, staying active and learning through play. Summer is a time to have fun and make memories. Hi, my name is Kristi Molloy and I have two daughters ages 7 and 4. I moved to Invermere with my family 4 years ago. We are a very active family that enjoys the outdoors and everything this community has to offer. In my spare time, I enjoy biking, hiking, boating, swimming, skiing, kickboxing and horse back riding. I’m currently working as a Community Connections Society Support Worker with Supported Child Development. I’m enrolled in Lethbridge College in the Education Assistant Certificate Program and have completed 6 courses in the past year while working full time. I have completed the Responsible Adult Course and I have a valid first aid and child CPR certificate and an up to date criminal record check. Last summer I had the opportunity to work/program plan for an out of school program at a local daycare. I’m very excited to have the opportunity to spend the summer outdoors with my girls and your child exploring everything this community has to offer in summer.
