Our names are Patricia and Jamie Poohachoff and together we offer interior decorating and home renovation services. Although it is a natural fit, we have found our partnership to be one of a kind in Thunder Bay and the surrounding area. We spent 15 years in Edmonton, Alberta pursuing careers in (BLING -Patricia) - Project Management and Media Rel
ations for non-profit organizations and (BANG- Jamie) Construction Engineering where most of his career was spent in residential/commercial construction building large condominiums. After years of visiting the fabulous show suites in the various condominium projects Jamie had worked on, Patricia decided to change her career and pursued an education in the Residential Interiors Program at the University of Alberta, Faculty of Extension. Although we found great success in our careers and life in Edmonton, there honestly is no place like home. We had the opportunity to purchase the family home and acreage in O'Connor and decided it was time to be closer to our friends and family and returned December 2011. After working on various construction projects together as well as getting to know our community all over again, we decided there was more than enough room for our unique business. It is rare to find a decorating and renovation team that consistently works together, offers both educated and experienced service and is easily and quickly accessible to each other’s skills to get the job done. We have worked together and separately on various projects depending on the needs of the customer. This year we formally established BLING and BANG Interior Decorating and Home Renovations Services.
Together we have designed and renovated homes top to bottom which included our own residences, investment and rental properties. Our investment property was so well received that is sold within two days on the market and for over the listing price. Our most recent project was the design and custom building of elements in Country Clippers - a very trendy dog grooming shop in Kakabeka Falls. Other projects have included master bedroom remodels, bathrooms, kitchens, fireplace re-facing and we have always made time for the small home renovations that everyone seems to need but can't get to! Why choose us? We have the education and years of hands on experience with decorating and renovations and take care of our customers. Although skills and style are essential in this field, of equal importance are communication skills. This process of making a house the home of your dreams is about YOU!
