The finalist announcement event was a wonderful celebration of entrepreneurship and business excellence in our community. It was especially exciting to see several current and former clients recognized among this year’s nominees, including Self-Employment (SE) client Tatiana Sumina of Calibri Cleaning and Carolann Kreiser of Fly Fitness Aerial Studio , both nominated for Youth Entrepreneur of the Year.

We were also thrilled to see former SE client and current loan client Andrew Giese, owner of Electric Avenue Contracting, receiving well-deserved recognition.

Lemonade Day Kamloops Business Results are coming in!🤗🍋

Maddi and Emi turned their Lemon-Egg Stand into something truly meaningful—raising $383 for the BC Wildfire Recovery Effort. This is such a powerful example of youth entrepreneurship in action: building real-world skills while making a difference in their community.

WOW Kamloops! Thanks to your support and the generous donations at their Lemon-Egg Stand on Friday, Maddi and Emi raised $383 toward the BC Wildfire Recovery Effort! Not only did they learn valuable skills regarding running a business but they also learned how the generous spirit of their community can make a difference together! We had the pleasure of joining CFJC Today Midday’s Tanya Cronin to share more about Lemonade Day Kamloops and the impact it continues to have in our community.

This Friday, August 21 marks the second annual Lemonade Day in Kamloops. We are proud to be the first organization to bring this program to Interior BC. With more than 60 youth registered and 33 stands on the map, the excitement and momentum continue to grow!

Lemonade Day empowers youth to turn their ideas into action, building confidence, creativity, financial literacy, and real-world business skills by running their own lemonade stand.
