It’s always a good day when we can confirm a new Telum fitment, especially when it’s a beauty like this Frameworks Enduro unit. We are fortunate that a couple of small changes to the frame between protos and production meant there is now room for the Telum, though it has to run in this conventional orientation.

On that note, timing couldn’t be better - congrats and on a well deserved first World Cup DH win. First of many no doubt.

Thanks .sports for the photos and fitment check.

We need another axis for these Telum reservoir heads.

Not like an axis of evil. Or an axis of resistance.

Maybe another rotary axis. A 5th one. 🤷

The Telum has zero oil flow through the main piston. 100% of it flows through the damping circuits housed in the reservoir bridge, thanks to its twin tube design and solid main piston.

But why?

Because it gives you full external control over the damping curves.

The compression adjusters in conventional monotube shocks only allow you to control low speed bleed and high speed preload for the base valve compression circuit - there’s no such adjustment at the main piston.

What does this mean?

Dyno-mite makes a bang! Broke the actuator shaft, decided to take the opportunity to do some upgrades, also known as going on an adventure… gonna see if we can get to Xm/s without anyone dying. More to come…

Bit of frequency sensitivity testing on the Charger 3.1. Funny how one major manufacturer is marketing that their stuff is all pressure balanced for minimum hysteresis and the other one is putting rubber bumpers in there to increase hysteresis.

Tag a friend who needs a low hysteresis pressure balanced damper with rubber bumpers on the end to increase hysteresis.

We’re VERY excited to have aboard once again! Besides being an obviously ridiculously skilled rider, Remy has an incredible ability to notice and identify exactly what his suspension is doing that he likes and dislikes, even in seriously extreme circumstances. We’ve worked together before and his feedback is consistently precise and useful.

His duties include shredding, ripping, skidding, hucking, going fast, being tres French, and new product development.

He’s on the Telum rear shock, with different forks on different bikes running the Secus air spring upgrade and the Smashpot coil system, and maybe something else very interesting soon…
