On this Day of Truth and Reconciliation, we reflect on past and present genocide of Indigenous peoples from coast to coast to coast. We remember the legacy of residential schools, the ongoing inequity of child welfare policies, and the rise of white nationalism on stolen land. Tomorrow, and everyday, we speak the truth and reconcile injustice.

2SLGBTQIA+ rights have eroded since the COVID-19 pandemic

Two-Spirit, Le***an, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Q***r, Intersex, Asexual, Pansexual, Non-binary and all people identifying under the 2SLGBTQIA+ umbrella of gender and sexual minorities have always existed throughout recorded human history.

The oppression of people's gender and sexuality is a human rights violation under the Canadian Charter of Human Rights and a Hate Crime under the Criminal Code of Canada.

We celebrate for gender and sexual minorities this month and every month. Why? Because our existence continues
to be in danger. Your acceptance and inclusion save lives.
