So inspiring listening to Rick Hansen’s journey to create the Rick Hansen Foundation. He is driven by a deep passion and need to make a difference and leave this world a little better than he found it… such commitment to creating a world …yes, a world, without barriers. We all remember him from his Man in Motion Tour but his reach has gone so far beyond the charitable side of the work to creating programs, plans, an Accessibility Certification and as an advocate for all disabilities, those you can see and those that are often hidden and misunderstood. I’m in awe of him and his team’s ability to move forward and create change… imagine what the future holds. A big thank you to Institute of Corporatete Directors BC Interior for bringing Rick to Kelowna. The story is just too powerful to put into words ..check out their website. ♿️

Happy Mothers’ Day!! … as a well seasoned Mom, of three great children, I resonate with multitasking, but wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. I am graciously reminded that motherhood can be amazing and can have its struggles… but likely will be the most enpowering job you ever choose.
