The Federal Government has made a reduction in the amount of International students it will be accepting over the next two years in certain areas this will mean a 35% reduction and in other areas it will be a 50% reduction from 2023 and the number of visas to be accepted for 2025 will be decided by years end 2024.

It is imperative when seeking advice on immigration matters that you always ask to see the credentials and check the credentials on the CICC website, of the individual or individuals who are offering the services. Corruption exists as I have discovered today. Those that do not have the proper qualifications cannot charge for the service provided. Unfortunately after 2 years of being a Regualted Canadian Immigration Consultant I have heard from my clients how they have lost quite a bit of money to ghost consultants. You can check their credentials at the following link.

Verify that your immigration consultant is authorized—they are licensed and “active”—by using our public search register. Check for RCICs or RISIAs.
