2021 was my best year ever yet I’m not proud of myself.

Sold millions for clients.

Hired new team members.

Traveled to the US & Canada, worked on a future NY Best-seller, and invested in a cool project or two.

But if I say I’m pleased I’d be breaking one of my foundational beliefs:

“Always be honest with yourself.”

I could have done more. Smarter. Better.

I didn’t hit the goals I set for myself.

I made mistakes, hurting people I love, ignoring people I cared about, forgetting people who would never forget.

And in case you’re reading this, I’m sorry and I will fix this.

“But Chris, you’ve made progress, take a breather, man”

No.

I may be hard on myself but I’m not after an easy life.

We built a world of privilege, pillows, and bubble wrap, and I’m not so romantic to believe this is good for the future.

It’s fine and dandy if you want to cruise through their days…

But it spells bad news for anyone who wishes to break through the norm.

What will happen when the world shows its ugly teeth?

I do not wish to lead that kind of life.

I’m looking to MAX OUT and that doesn’t come without sacrifice.

But it’s Christmas Eve and I’m being lame. Fine. I’ll tone it down. 👇

Everybody wanna sell HIGH-TICKET…
..but nobody wants to pay for the high-ticket LEADS…

And who can blame them?

The ad platform Head Honcho’s want their fair share of your budget, STAT.

Say your bullseye high-ticket dream client is “Smiling Stacy”...

From what clients tell me?

With ad costs creeping up by the day…

And other high-ticket folks swooping up Smiling Stacy’s by the dozen...

It’s not uncommon to take $500… $1,000… even $2,000 on ads for every new “Smiling Stacy” they bring in

So the question becomes...

How can you bring a steady flow of sales without ads chewing up all your profits?

I’m not much of a fisher-dude, but there’s a lot to learn from the sea...

For years we’d wrestle with waves, storms, and sharks to try and reel in the wildest salmons...
..alas, many nights fish wouldn’t be on the dinner menu.

And a lot of gas, bait, and sweat would go for nothing.

But when we started creating salmons FARMS instead?

You could throw salmon on a skillet the same day you’d set sail.

When it comes to your high-ticket sales...

I’m all for fixin’ and optimizin’ funnels to bring in dream clients for cheap.

But…

What IF?

We could create ideal clients FARMS instead?

Here’s my point:

STOP hunting for Smiling Stacy’s.

==> “Farm” Smiling Stacy’s instead.

How?

If Smiling Stacy’s your ideal target audience…

There are 100 “Frowning Fiona’s” before her.

If you released a program that TURNS Frowning Fiona’s into Smiling Stacy’s…

Whether that’s a 30, 60, or 90-day sprint…

You’d get to cherry-pick the “Smiling Stacy’s” and upgrade them into your high-ticket…

At NO cost whatsoever.

And by dropping the right ‘bait’ during the ‘starter’ program…

Smiling Stacy’s will emerge ASKING you to upgrade.

When I applied this with clients, it was an easy five to six figures payday.

🤬I’m a fraud (kind of)🤬

A few weeks ago I trained a million-dollar sales team on ‘closing’...

Was it because I’m one of the better sales folks out there?

Strangely, no.

It’s kinda weird but...

In the past, I’d push and shove, pamper and cajole, and put people on a sales guillotine until they bought or the blade dropped.

And I was left with empty pockets and a bunch of “No thank you’s”.

So I’d hit ‘em with mighty timers, flashy bonuses, and discounts that would make an orphan smile.

Nada, still.

Instead…

I started UNSELLING them…

And it started raining YESes like never before.

When they asked, “How can you help me?”

I said “No idea, can you? Why are we talking?”

When they said “I like your offer, consider me interested”...

I said “Are you sure? Maybe you want to give this more thought?”

When they wouldn’t reply to my messages, I’d ask…

“Is this over?”

And people would march on to the order page.

Soon enough, I didn’t even need to jump on the phone, but still enrolling 1 out of 3ish people I’d chat with.

I guess I’m just bonkers?

Or are just people tired of getting sold to, the ‘guru’ way?
