Home organization doesn't just include the inside of the home - it extends to the outside too!
And with the spring weather we're experiencing in the Okanagan, now is the perfect time to get your yard organized!
From the cleaning up the winter leaves and grass, to organizing the storage shed, and prepping the backyard activity zone, having a place that's free from junk and clutter means you have a better place to relax and enjoy.

If you need help, I'm only a phone call away!

The most important organizing rule when you start a home project? Finish.

No excuses. No half-done projects. No “I’ll come back to it later". Otherwise you lose motivation, momentum and you get discouraged.

My advice? Choose one small project at a time and commit to completing it.

Set a reward to keep you motivated! Bonus points if it supports your space (hello, organizing system you’ve always wanted.) Wine and chocolate work well too.

Happy first day of Spring Break!

This is the perfect time to hit reset at home, and the kids can be a big part of it!

Instead of trying to organize the whole house yourself, turn it into a fun family project. Kids actually love having ownership over their spaces when they feel involved.

Try a few simple tasks:
- Let them sort their toys into keep, donate, and toss piles
- Challenge them to organize their books or art supplies
- Have them pick out clothes they’ve outgrown to donate

Not only does it lighten your workload, but it also teaches them valuable life skills like responsibility, decision-making, and caring for their personal space.

Plus… starting spring with a calmer, more organized home just feels better for everyone.

Tip #1: Set a timer for 20 minutes, turn on some music, and make it a family organizing activity!

Tip #2: Rewards (I don't like to call them bribes) also work wonders LOL

If you can't find the time or motivation to get started, of course I'm always here to help! I have a few spots open during Spring Break - reach out to me at [email protected]

Before you organize anything… ask yourself this:

What do you actually want from your life:
A project completed?
A goal reached?
A dream realized?
A lifestyle shift?

When your space is overcrowded, it’s hard to see clearly enough to answer that question. You're too overwhelmed to truly focus on yourself and your needs.

Decluttering is often the first step, not because of the stuff itself, but because it clears the noise.

If you're ready to get clear and get going, please reach out to me for help. [email protected]

I realize that home organizing or decluttering can feel overwhelming, so I have a piece of advice for you: Start small or don't start at all.

Why?
You need ONE win.

One drawer. One shelf. One category.

Doing anything more than that to start would be too much for anyone. It can be demotivating and frustrating, so focus on one thing at a time and finish it. See how good it feels and I promise you'll be motivated to keep going, one small project at a time.

Progress builds confidence, and confidence builds momentum.

Need help for those larger projects? I'm here for you.
