Tomorrow we are closed for Truth & Reconciliation Day so we wore our orange shirts today. We read a book and talked about what the book and the shirts mean, in words younger children can understand. We also did some colouring. Thanks to Michelle Stoney, Gitxsan artist, for creating and sharing these colouring pages. 🧡

We’ve had 3 children leave us for kindergarten this year and today our last one left😭. On your last day here you get to choose what to do. He picked: watch a movie, everyone wears his favourite colour and he wanted to bring donuts to share. This is always bittersweet as we will definitely miss him but it has been so fun watching him grow and he is SO ready for kindergarten! 💙
