Here are a few recent highlights from student programs we’re incredibly proud to sponsor:
1. UBCO Aerospace – University of British Columbia Okanagan (Kelowna, BC)
At the 2026 AEAC National Student UAS Competition, the UBCO Aerospace team earned the Innovation Award for their unique mothership drone launching system. We also enjoyed supporting their rocketry program by providing machining expertise, materials, and technical guidance to help bring their engine design to life.
2. Blackbird UAV – Carleton University (Ottawa, ON)
The Blackbird UAV team wrapped up an outstanding 2025–2026 season with a 6th-place finish out of 15 teams at this year's AEAC National Student UAS Competition. We’re proud to support the team as they gain hands-on experience and apply their engineering knowledge to real-world challenges.
3. Bear Force Robotics – Mount Boucherie Secondary School (Kelowna, BC)
Bear Force is a competitive robotics team from Mount Boucherie Secondary School. This year, the team placed 20th at the Canadian Pacific Regional, demonstrating their engineering skills and dedication to their craft.
