🏕️ Heading away this summer? North Grenville Fire Service reminds you to stay fire-safe!

Whether you're staying at a cottage, cabin, campground, RV, travel trailer, hotel, or motel, fire safety should always be part of your plans.

✔️ Make sure smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are present and working where you're staying
✔️ Check propane connections on BBQs and appliances before use
✔️ Never leave cooking unattended — even on outdoor burners
✔️ Keep campfires (if allowed) small, supervised, and fully extinguished before bed
✔️ Know your location address, lot number, campsite number, or room number in case of emergency
✔️ Take a moment to identify exits and evacuation routes when you arrive

Fire safety doesn't take a vacation. A few simple precautions can help ensure a safe and enjoyable summer for everyone.

Have a wonderful and safe summer! ☀️
