Sunshine, great company, and a whole lot of friendly competition ☀️🎉

Last week, we celebrated 8 years of NPX with an incredible day in Caledon. From reconnecting with teammates to celebrating everything we've accomplished together, it was the perfect way to mark this milestone.

The day featured something for everyone, including a bouncy inflatable for the kids, a travelling escape room, an inflatable soccer pitch, amazing food, and yes... the return of the ice cream truck (although only one this year🍦).

Of course, no NPX celebration would be complete without a few team challenges. Teams put their creativity and problem-solving skills to the test by building contraptions to protect eggs from gravity and constructing the tallest marshmallow towers using nothing but spaghetti, marshmallows, and a healthy dose of optimism.

We're grateful for the amazing people who make NPX what it is and excited for everything still to come. Here's to 8 years and counting! 💙

National Indigenous History Month is not just about the past. It’s about recognizing the resilience, knowledge, and leadership of Indigenous communities today, and understanding the responsibilities we all share in advancing truth, respect, and reconciliation.

Learning is ongoing. Listening matters. And meaningful change starts with understanding.

NPX is hiring a QA Specialist to support our Nuclear Quality Management System and help Canada's nuclear utilities maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance. You'll plan audits, chase nonconformances to resolution, keep quality documentation honest, and work alongside a team that treats "nothing slips through the cracks" as a personality trait, not a tagline.

A huge welcome to our newest group of interns 👏

It’s only been a couple of weeks, and they’ve already hit the ground running, especially at our recent hackathon, where they absolutely crushed it with creative AI-focused ideas aimed at helping demystify nuclear and make learning about the industry more accessible, engaging, and fun.

The amount this group accomplished in such a short time has been incredible to watch, and we can’t wait to see what they continue to bring to the table during their time at NPX.

Our recent CodeHER event was such an incredible experience 💜

This session introduced girls to the world of coding through Scratch, giving them a chance to learn, create, and explore in a fun and supportive environment.

It was amazing to see how engaged, curious, and creative everyone was throughout the event, and we already can’t wait for the next one!

The Municipality of Kincardine is installing a new Smart Beach Light at Station Beach to help beachgoers better understand changing waterfront conditions. Using real-time data and a simple colour-coded signal system, the Smart Beach Light supports safer decision-making before entering the water.
