Our Innovation Catalyst, Mitchell Romanuik, represented NPX at the Maximo Utility Working Group (MUWG) Conference in Minnesota this week!

Mitchell had the opportunity to connect with industry professionals and co-present on how NPX is helping transform work management at Bruce Power, highlighting the role of innovation and digital solutions in improving efficiency, streamlining processes, and modernizing the way work gets done.

NPX is proud to be supporting a food and essentials drive in support of the Saugeen First Nation Food Bank, and we’re inviting our community to help us make a difference!

We're collecting much-needed items to support local individuals and families, including:

πŸ₯¨ School snacks for kids (peanut-free)
🧴 Hygiene products such as hand soap, deodorant, shampoo and toothpaste
🐾 Dog and cat food (any kind)
πŸ• Pet supplies such as leashes and collars

Catherine is a passionate STEM student from Kenora, Ontario, who is beginning her Bachelor of Science at McGill University this fall. With a particular interest in science, nuclear energy and environmental sustainability, Catherine hopes to contribute to research and innovation that can help build a safer, healthier future.

Today, our NPX team came together for an afternoon of learning and reflection in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. 🧑

We watched an insightful video of Phyllis Webstad sharing her story, followed by a meaningful discussion about residential schools, their lasting impacts, and the importance of continuing to listen and learn.

Our learning will continue beyond today, with upcoming events including a virtual tour of a residential school to deepen our understanding of what Indigenous children, families, and communities experienced. We also look forward to celebrating Indigenous culture and artistry through a porcupine quill earring workshop.

Thank you to everyone on our team who took part in today’s conversation. Every Child Matters. 🧑
