Big Dreams. Small Towns. Real Hustle.
Community Futures Meridian Region, in partnership with Return to Rural Project, is proud to support the Youth Side Hustle Program in participating schools and communities across the region.
This hands-on, module-based program is designed for rural youth ages 12–18 who are ready to explore entrepreneurship, creativity, and what it takes to start and run a small business.
Through guided learning, practical activities, and mentorship, youth will build skills in:
✨ Business planning
✨ Branding & marketing
✨ Budgeting & money basics
✨ Confidence, self-awareness & problem-solving
✨ Turning hobbies, passions, and strengths into real opportunities
Whether it’s baking, photography, lawn care, handmade goods, services, or a brand-new idea — this program helps youth take action, think creatively, and build confidence along the way.
Entrepreneurship helps youth develop independence, flexibility, and real-world skills that can create lasting opportunities in rural communities.
