Demolition was completed at Water Treatment Plant #2 Filter Building in Canmore a few weeks back.

Scope: over 2,600 SF of structure removed, significant cast-in-place concrete demolition, and tight site access.

One of the biggest challenges: absolutely no tracking permitted on the suspended slab due to active wet well chambers below.

This project required precision, planning, and controlled ex*****on from start to finish. Proud of the crew for delivering this safely and efficiently under complex conditions.

Wednesdays silo demolition in Northern BC was a textbook drop that went exactly as planned.

The crew isolated two columns on each side, made one clean cut then attached shackles at the bottom and pulled both columns together until they broke free.

The structure landed against the old concrete wall that had already been demolished.

Big shoutout to the crew — everyone stayed calm, focused, and professional from start to finish. Great teamwork all around.

Once again PDI will support the safe installation and removal of the temporary modular bridge on Kingston’s La Salle Causeway for the 2026 season.

From April 19 to November 15, our team will carefully remove and reinstall the bridge each Sunday to allow for marine navigation.

This post-tension 8 storey building at 12th and 8th in Calgary is a complete demo including the underground parking garage.

We started with full abatement and then moved to the roof with the E85 CAT to start on the top-down demo method.

💥 SUCCESSFUL BLAST — PRECISION IN ACTION 💥

Our PDI | GCD teams successfully executed on a controlled demolition blast at the Former Bunge Grain Silos in Cincinnati yesterday.

The 245-foot-tall reinforced concrete Head House came down in a matter of seconds using a carefully engineered explosive razing sequence led by licensed blasting professionals.

Safety zones were fully enforced, monitoring systems performed as designed, and all results remained well within the approved limits.

A big thank you to local residents, nearby businesses, and our public safety partners for their cooperation and support.
