Federal Support for Canadian Businesses Impacted by U.S. Tariffs

As your Chamber, we know that the uncertainty surrounding U.S. tariffs and the changing trade environment is creating real challenges for many Canadian businesses.

The Government of Canada has announced new and enhanced measures to help businesses, workers and industries navigate these impacts. Support includes expanded financing and liquidity programs, resources for small and medium-sized businesses, workforce retention and retraining initiatives, enhanced Employment Insurance measures, and tools to help businesses adapt, diversify and strengthen their operations.

For businesses here in Kingston, understanding what support is available can be an important part of planning for the months ahead.
