When it comes to gender equality, “boss babe” is a moniker that sometimes has negative connotations to those who believe that the term alienates us from male bosses (after all, men don’t say “boss boys”!) However when it comes to YGK Boss Babes, the term “girl boss” was consciously discarded in favour of “boss babe” to be all-inclusive — the term “boss babe” is not limited to gender, ethnicity, body type, age or income — it is a state of mind.
