There is nothing quite like the feeling of getting the keys to your very first home! But when that home used to be a student rental, it often needs a little extra love to shed its past and truly feel like yours.
We are absolutely thrilled with this incredible bedroom transformation. Our client saw past the tired, dated look of the old rental setup and knew this space had amazing potential.
What we did:
While the buyer took care of the new flooring, focused entirely on a clean, professional refresh of the surfaces to make the whole room pop! We expertly prepped and painted:
The Walls (goodbye, tired beige; hello, bright and modern!)

It’s incredible what a few gallons of paint and some vision can do. We went from a heavy, closed-in burgundy to a space that breathes.
The Transformation Breakdown:
-From Dark to Light: Switching out the deep plum walls for a crisp, warm white instantly doubled the perceived square footage. It catches the natural light from those windows instead of absorbing it.
-Grounding the Space: By refinishing the worn wood floors into a sleek, dark espresso finish, the room feels modern and intentional. The high contrast between the dark floors and light walls creates a sophisticated “gallery” feel.
-The Result: This space has been reborn as a serene, versatile sanctuary.
