Backhoe Loader Frame Repair
This backhoe loader came into the shop after years of previous repairs, this time with one of the loader arms completely broken away from the frame. Once we started into it, we also found cracking through the existing frame rail that needed to be addressed before anything could go back together.

We started by using our 2kW fiber laser to remove the paint, rust and buildup from the repair areas, allowing us to properly inspect the existing steel and previous repairs.

From there, the old welded-on components were removed, damaged areas were opened up, and the cracks were ground out and welded.

We added 1/4" reinforcement plates inside of the frame rails. Both loader arms were then set up on our fixture table and carefully aligned and squared in all three axis before being welded back into position.

To reinforce the repair, we designed and CNC plasma cut new fish plates and support gussets in-house. These were fitted and welded into the existing structure to strengthen the areas that had failed and better distribute the load through the frame.

A fairly involved repair, but a good example of the equipment we have in the shop working together—from laser cleaning and CNC plasma cutting to fixturing, fabrication and welding.

Winter is getting closer, and our snow removal route is filling up.

We currently have approximately 30 residential spots remaining for the 2026–2027 season. Once those spots are filled, we’ll be closing seasonal contract bookings so we can maintain reliable service for everyone on our routes.

This year we’ve expanded our snow removal equipment with a Kubota R530 wheel loader. The loader gives us significantly more capability for moving and stacking snow when banks start getting high throughout the winter.

It will be working alongside our Ram 2500 with V-plow and John Deere tractor with snowblower.

Having multiple machines available means we aren't relying on a single piece of equipment to service our routes. We always have backup equipment to keep service un-interrupted

DIY Solar Racking

We designed these racks after years of commercial and off-grid solar installs in Northern Ontario and wanting something that was easier to transport, faster to set up, and didn’t require concrete or heavy equipment.

These units come pre-assembled with commercial-grade bifacial panels already mounted. They ship folded flat, so transportation is simple. Once on site, two people can set them up in minutes — just lift the panel into position and install 2 bolts to lock in your angle.

The racks have 3 adjustable positions so you can change the tilt through the seasons for better production. They use ground anchors instead of concrete, so they can be permanent or easily removed and stored if needed.
