Are you always running out of time when it comes to working on your marketing strategies?

πŸ‘‰ Ask yourself these questions to simplify your process:
1: What are your top 20% of tasks that produce 80% of the results you want?
2: Are any of these tasks are on autopilot?
3: What would happen if you stopped doing it?
4: How much time can you free up by integrating one of your least productive tasks into a productive task?

πŸ’‘Those questions are directly associated with the 80/20 rule, also known as the Pareto principle.

➑️ Try this out for one week and let me know how it goes!

Marketing Plan, Marketing Campaign, and Marketing Strategy - what's the difference?

πŸ€” Hold one a second! Are they not all the same?

πŸ’‘They are all plans that help you organize your strategy for a specific marketing goal. This is what they all have in common.

Let's dive into some differences:
1. Marketing plan is an overall plan for your marketing efforts and projects, to promote your business. It includes sections about the market, competitors, swot analysis, price strategy, and so on.
2. A marketing campaign is a plan to promote a specific product or service in a defined timeframe. It usually has short goals associated (Leads, sales, revenue).
3. Marketing strategy is a process of implementing a promotion, concentrating resources on specific opportunities (channels, for example) to achieve a sustainable result.

➑️ This is why small businesses are focusing so much on Marketing Strategies: they are immediate actions that you can take, to see the best outcome possible with the most cost-effective investment (time and money).

Social Media strategy is a big picture of your marketing goals, process, and content that you create to promote your company or services/products on social media channels.
Let's break down some of the critical pieces required in a social media strategy:
πŸ‘‰ 1) Goals or KPIs: define clear goals when planning your posts (e.g., engagement, follows, leads);
πŸ‘‰ 2) Audiences (Personas/Avatar): who is your ideal client? Define it and speak to them using a vocabulary that is familiar to them;
πŸ‘‰ 3) Analytics: do some research on data that could help you achieve your goals (best time and day to post, for example)
πŸ‘‰ 4) Content: choose your content pillars and topics that are related to your products or services;
πŸ‘‰ 5) Channels: select which channels you will be posting content and engaging with your audience;
πŸ‘‰ 6) Process: How and when are you creating your posts? Who will be responsible for what?
πŸ‘‰ 7) Evaluate/Improve: monitor your posts' performance, evaluate which type is doing well, identify where you could improve and how.
πŸ’‘Using these seven pieces in your next social media strategy will save you time, also create an effective plan that will help you increase performance.

πŸ€” Where and how to start improving performance in your marketing projects?
Every business is different. Some have a well-established marketing strategy, while others have established a marketing approach but want to improve it for better ex*****on.
πŸ’‘The first step is to draft a workflow of your marketing process and ask yourself some questions. Grab a white paper and look after 5 main stages of your projects:
1. Idea: how you select the best ideas?
2. Strategize: how do you define it?
3. Select channels: which/why/how do you choose them, and what is the critical content?
4. Implement: how is this process, and which tools do you use?
5. Track / Improve: how is the process, and which tools are used.
⭐ Keep simple and clear answers in each step, identify gaps, and evaluate where you could enhance your process. It’s an excellent first step to start improving your performance.
