⭐️Client Spotlight⭐️ Daniela’s Second Chance at Life!
In November 2025, Daniela suffered a stroke caused by a blood clot affecting the right side of her brain. The experience was life-changing. She spent a month in a coma, and shortly after waking, faced another major challenge when complications from prolonged intubation left her vocal cords paralyzed, requiring an emergency tracheostomy.
For months, Daniela focused on surviving and healing.
When she began training with me at Mommies & Tummies, the goal wasn’t just fitness—it was rebuilding strength, mobility, confidence, and independence.
Here’s what Daniela shared about her journey:
“Getting a second shot at life really makes you want better for yourself. I never thought I’d take exercise so seriously, but since working with Tina, I’ve fallen in love with the process. The way she builds you up while improving your strength and self-esteem is inspirational. I still wear a trachea, but every day I feel stronger, healthier, and more confident. I feel better, look better, and think healthier. I appreciate all the dedicated time and specialized workouts she provides. If I can do it, so can you.”
Daniela’s determination is nothing short of inspiring. Every session is a reminder that progress isn’t about where you start—it’s about showing up, putting in the work, and believing in what’s possible.
I’m incredibly proud to be part of her journey and excited to see what she accomplishes next.

✨ Client Success Story: Summer ✨
After a challenging birth experience involving 6 hours of pushing, multiple complications, and an assisted delivery, Summer faced significant postpartum challenges, including pain and symptoms associated with uterine prolapse.
When we started working together, our focus was rebuilding strength safely, restoring confidence in movement, and supporting her recovery through structured exercise and progressive strength training.
The results have been incredible.
Over the past few months, Summer has experienced:
- Significant reduction in pain
- Improved core and pelvic stability
- Reduced prolapse symptoms
- Increased strength and confidence
- A return to activities she previously struggled with
Today, she’s nearly pain-free and continues to get stronger every week.
Postpartum recovery isn’t just about “getting back” to where you were before—it’s about building a stronger, more resilient version of yourself.
So proud of the work Summer has put in. Consistency, patience, and the right plan truly make a difference.

“A typical in-home session”

A session might include:
* breathing + core activation
* posture work
* gentle strength progressions
* movement education you can use daily
It’s calm, intentional, and built around your real life. “Why I don’t train everyone the same way”
No two postpartum or prenatal bodies are the same.
So no two programs should be either.
Your history, your birth experience, your symptoms, your energy levels—all of it matters.

“What I wish more new moms knew”

You don’t have to push through discomfort to be making progress.
Slower, supported movement often creates better long-term recovery than pushing harder too soon.
Your body isn’t behind. It’s rebuilding.

“Strength after pregnancy looks different”

Strength after pregnancy isn’t just physical.
It’s:
* carrying your baby without pain
* standing longer without fatigue
* trusting your body again
That’s the kind of strength I focus on.

“Why I work in clients’ homes”

Recovery doesn’t just happen in gyms.
It happens in real life:
* holding your baby
* getting up from the couch
* carrying groceries
* moving through your home
That’s why I come to you—because strength needs to translate into your actual day.

“Yes, I’ve met all your pets”

One of my favourite parts of in-home work?
The pets.
I’ve been barked at, climbed on, sat beside, and supervised by many very opinionated dogs and cats over the years.

“Postpartum recovery is not about bouncing back”
Postpartum recovery isn’t about “getting your body back.”

It’s about learning how to move, breathe, and rebuild strength in a body that has done something incredible.
In my work, we start with function first—core, pelvic floor, posture, and how you move in real life… not just exercise.

Strong doesn’t mean fast. It means supported.

Another great testimony from a client who worked out throughout her full pregnancy! I’m so proud of her and the mother she has become. I’m looking forward to continuing her “post” recovery with more pelvic floor exercises.

“Working with Tina during my pregnancy was such a wonderful experience. She adjusted my exercises as my pregnancy progressed, keeping me motivated and helping me feel prepared for whatever lay ahead. Tina always reminded me that while exercise couldn’t guarantee the type of birth I’d have, it could make a big difference in my recovery—and she was absolutely right. I ended up having an unplanned C-section, and my recovery was so smooth and quick. The hospital staff, my family, and my friends couldn’t believe how well I’d recovered and how quickly I was back on my feet.

If you’re thinking about working with Tina during your pregnancy, I can’t recommend her enough. She truly made such a positive difference in my journey, and I’m so grateful for her guidance and support. Thank you, Tina, for everything—you’ve been amazing!”
