🏞️🐎🎶 Our time in Banff, Alberta has been incredible! The hiking, horseback riding, live music, and the views! Charging our EV, however, not as pleasant. Despite trying at THE 4 different places (all level 2), we only managed to get a total of 50km charge during our two-night stay. Our hotel would have taken over 50 hours for a full charge! Thankfully, Canmore was on our route today and had plenty of charging options available - full charge acheived in 15 minutes for $9.60! Despite this hiccup, our time in Banff was unforgettable! ⚡️🚗

🚗⚡ Thank you, British Columbia, for an electrifying journey! ⚡🚗

On our EV Discovery road trip, we've experienced firsthand how BC leads the way in EV charging. While not exactly abundant, there are easily enough level 3 chargers to cross the mountains without stress. However, we've also encountered challenges like poor signage, chargers that don't work, confusing instructions and lack of basic amenities (washrooms, garbage, lighting).

🔌 Today's EV exploration brought a valuable lesson! If the charge plug gets "locked" into your vehicle, your car will have a way to disengage it. Knowing this can save you from delays, like missing a ferry as we experienced firsthand today! ⛴️
