This is my colourwash quilt. 600 three inch squares. Just to keep you up to date…Creative Quilting will be closed from September 1 - October 15th.
I still have a few spaces available for edge to edge quilting before this date.
I know some of you have Christmas quilts started and booked!

I have had the great honour of helping many of you complete your quilts this year. So many beautiful quilts went through these doors. Thank you so much for your business. We appreciate you!
I could not do all that I do without the help of my wonderful husband, Don. He is the official leader putter on er, floor manager, jack of all trades, pick up and drop off person and getter done quick guy!
He is my rock when I need him and always eager to get the job done right. He is a great cook and an amazing hugger.
He knows just the right words to say when the world seems troubled... which we all have had more then our share of this year.
A few changes in the studio in 2020... a fresh coat of paint made me eager to reorganize the studio. Looking forward to the day I can welcome you all to the studio again.
Sunny Boy misses you all too!

Lots of action in the studio!

And my beautiful studio is getting a fresh coat of paint soon! Watch for pictures ... A great time to reorganize everything! The question is... how to fit the contents of the 750sf studio into a 10x12 room??

I have been busy getting your quilts done and making masks and scrub hats for BC children’s hospital and Vernon jubilee hospital.
We are open for business as usual. Give me a call or pop me an email to make arrangements for machine quilting service, labels or bindings. Lots of people pre-booking their quilting space.
Precautions are being taken with drop offs and pick ups at your door or mine.
Don is out today doing his drop off chores... lake country to penticton ... we are here for you!

Lots of beautiful quilts taken in the last few days... Wedding, baby, graduation, birthday, off to college! Always a reason to celebrate with a gift of a quilt. I also attached pictures of some of the tools my Grandmother, who was a quilter, used.
I am proud to say my prices have not changed in 12 years. I still charge $3. a square foot for medium density Edge to edge quilting with a thread charge of $5 to $10, depending on the size of the quilt. I offer thousands of patterns to choose from! There are no other hidden charges and I use top quality thread. I want you to be able to produce and afford to have your quilts done by a professional.
I have had people ask about how the square foot charge came to be. When I started my business 23 years ago I surveyed several people about the way they could best see how they were being charged. They thought it was easiest to visualize a square foot...and so it became that!
In order to calculate square footage the math is simple. Length x width % 144 = square footage. Times your square footage by $3 and that is your cost.

Happy 2019! Looks like snow in our future! Lots of beautiful new thread arriving this week, by parcel post! Give me a shout to get your wedding/ baby/ graduation quilts done! They are starting to pile up here!
