Phishing alert.

Phishing is an attempt to get you to click on a link then enter your personal information or click to install something on your device that will allow bad actors access to your device or email or other secure platforms.

Be on alert and if you ever have questions do reach out.

Here is an example that we received today. We identified it right away and wanted to share that this is not anything we would send out.

Announcement: On Aug 2nd 9pm EST we will be upgrading our servers from Enterprise Linux 7 to Enterprise Linux 8. This will mean an upgrade to Mysql and is necessary as linux 7 is nearing end of life.

What does that mean for you? In most cases you will not need to take any action.

To be prepared for this upgrade, please double check you are not using the word Olivia in ANY of your email host settings ( you should find. your domain name in the settings, but if you do see Olivia please contact us )

When you check your mail settings on your computer and phone your host should be mail.yourdomain.###x and not Olivia.###xx.###x

If you do NOT use coastal hosting for email you do not need to take any action as you are already using an external email service for email.

The Rogers cellular and internet networks were down in areas across Canada Friday morning.

Please take note : The server is being moved to the next generation data center. The new facility features 2(N+1) power, fiber networking, and improved air cooling. The move will take approximately 20-30 minutes.

Please be aware :

Core libraries or services have been updated and a reboot is required on the server to ensure that our system benefits from these updates.

The system will reboot July 31st, 2021 at 9AM UTC (5am EST).

All services will be unavailable while the system reboots. A typical reboot completes in a few minutes and this reboot will be closely monitored by the team.

It's always a great idea to backup your files using the CPANEL. Just go to CPANEL for your account, then search backup, and do a full site backup then download that backup to your personal computer.
