It was great to meet Ryan from the Humboldt Broncos today.

Thank you, Ryan, for making the trip to Langford to support the Langford Sport Assist Golf Tournament and help raise money for local youth so they have the opportunity to participate in the sport of their choice.

There’s a lot more to Stew’s story than most people know.

His roots in Langford started humbly at the Florence Lake trailer park, where he worked hard, saved what he could, and eventually bought his first trailer. From there, he built a life, a business, and spent decades working to help build Langford into the community we know today.

That same work ethic and commitment to Langford has been there from the beginning, long before Stew ever became Mayor.

Langford isn’t just where Stew served. It’s where he started. It is his home.

Had a great day at the 14th Annual Show N Shine in Langford today!

So many incredible classic cars and lots of great people out enjoying the day. It was awesome to see such a strong turnout and everyone coming together for such a fun community event.

Days like this are a great reminder of what makes our community so great.
