What You'll Do
You'll play a key role in the day-to-day financial operations of the business, including:
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Payroll and government remittances
• Bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
• Month-end and year-end support
• Inventory accounting and costing
• Cash flow and collections
• Financial reporting and budgeting support
• Continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls

What You'll Bring
• Diploma or Certificate in Accounting or Bookkeeping
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting practices
• Experience with QBO
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently

Experience in inventory, distribution, manufacturing, or industrial businesses is an asset.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
• Confined Space Rescue certification or willing to get certified
• Standard First Aid & CPR/AED
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
• Excellent physical fitness
• Willingness to travel and work rotational schedules
Preferred:
• Rope Rescue
• High Angle Rescue
• H2S Alive
• Fall Protection
• NFPA Technical Rescue
• Firefighter, EMS, Military, or Industrial Emergency Response experience
• Incident Command System (ICS)

We recently travelled to Nakusp British Columbia to provide a Level I Tech Vehicle Extrication program.

Always great to see another part of Canada, meet new responders and catch up with old friends.

Members from Nakusp Fire Department and Kaslo SAR worked were involved in this one.

The responders in this area have some real interesting roads, Curves Trees and Embankments. We tried to duplicate some of these challenges.

The crews worked through some difficult situations, with a total team effort to make it happen.

It was a great weekend , Thanks Nakusp Fire for hosting the program.

We conducted training exercises with Rosthern Fire and Rescue last week, utilizing their new High Pressure Paratech Heavy Lift Airbag System and Paratech Strut Stabilization systems in simulated real-life scenarios, including a casualty on a bicycle.
