As often as we can, and a surprising amount of it…ready to enjoy in the warm afternoon sun or late into a starlit night. Thing is, we never truly leave the backyard. From press to bottle, each Backyard wine gets ‘quality time’ onsite in the capable hands of our winemaker. The rest of us work hard to ensure that our wines can proudly wear a VQA logo. Mostly, we make wine we like to drink in our bac

kyard (but always enough of it to share). Backyard Vineyards is located in the scenic countryside of Langley, BC. Mature vines and excellent growing conditions have allowed the vineyard to produce outstanding wines with 10,000 cases expected to be produced by 2012. Backyard Vineyards is currently offering the 2009 vintage Gewürztraminer, Paradiso, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Rose, Sauvignon Blanc, Zweigelt, Cabernet/Merlot, Meritage and Blanc de Noir non-vintage, as well as the newly released 2007 Vintage Blanc de Noir Brut. All their wines are 100% VQA Fraser Valley and VQA Okanagan.

Our Backyard Vineyards Sunset Summer Market is a local Langley community celebration, a space for neighbours and local businesses to come together and build community connections.

Gather up some friends and family and come enjoy our beautiful winery sunsets, stay and sip and top the evening off by shopping our local vendors. We will have some great Sunset wine specials for you to relax and enjoy with.

Do you have a passion for wine? We are hiring for reliable, motivated, high-energy individuals to join our team for the summer!

We are currently looking for part time weekend Tasting Associates for our wine shop. Backyard Vineyards is a VQA winery producing quality wines. We are looking for team members who have a can do positive attitude, are energetic and who can provide our guests with the exceptional service we are known for. Don’t know much about wine but love working in customer service? We are happy to train and teach all about the Fraser Valley wine region and the wines we produce. Potential team members must be available weekends and have their Serving it Right certification.
