𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 ❗
I had a conversation with a group I was coaching about with colleagues.
The discussion mainly revolved around phone calls.
In a specific scenario, a manager calls a colleague to ask for help.
I noticed that many people began the conversation with the following phrase:
𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐈 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮❓
Well, call me curious, but that phrase piqued my curiosity. 🚨
And guess what? A chat followed upon questioning, and the team unveiled the reasoning:
Well, we don't know if the person is busy. 🤷♂️
I then suggested to flip the script with a sprinkle of positivity with the following approach:
𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐞 𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞❓
You see, for me teamwork is a concept where the 🎯 𝗪𝗘 🎯 truly comes into play. 🚀
We're all in the same boat, paddling together towards a common destination. 🚣♂️
How can we encourage cohesion if people feel like they're bothering the manager?
I then raised a hypothesis:
Could it be that a manager gives the impression of feeling disturbed, or is there a misunderstanding or lack of communication?
Regardless of where the challenge lies, a or Manager can take action to enhance the quality of exchanges.
It is entirely possible to make necessary changes to potentially act as a Leader.
Here is my advice for 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩:
When a team member seeks assistance, or when you take the initiative to offer your support in the face of challenges, you set an example and build trust by demonstrating clearly that your colleagues can rely on you for assistance.
Numerous other ideas and solutions are waiting to be unveiled. 🤝 📢 🎙

How will you act in this story, I wonder? 🌟
