[PRESS CONFERENCE] As the three days of the 12th edition of the leading international event for homeland security and civil defence in the Middle East came to a close we would like to announce the huge success of Milipol Qatar 2018:

● The event was held under the patronage of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani who honored Milipol Qatar with his visit today.
● The opening ceremony was attended by HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Prime Minister and Interior Minister of Qatar, 10 Ministers of Interior, high-ranking officials, ambassadors and representatives of the exhibiting companies.
● 48 countries were officially represented by 314 official delegates, +28% compared to the last edition in number of delegates and +37% in number of countries.
● A record of 8,487 visitors attended Milipol Qatar, an increase of +39% compared to 2016
● 222 exhibitors were present representing 24 countries, including 7 new countries (Greece, India, Latvia, Morocco, Russia, Slovenia and Switzerland) and 5 international Pavilions (UK, Germany, France, Italy and North America).
● +30% in surface versus the previous edition.
● A total of 352 media representatives were here to cover the event
● The total value of deals that were declared during the 3 days of the exhibition reached 572,5 Million Qatari Riyals.

The 13th edition of Milipol Qatar will be held in 2020 from 26 to 28 October.
