Multi-Functional surfaces create a unified, flexible and highly durable layer over the treated substrate measuring approximately 1/500th the thickness of a human hair - rendering the surface hydrophobic, oleophobic, and lipophobic - naturally rejecting soiling or staining from dirt, liquids, oils, fats and greases. These easy-to-clean properties reduce labour time and effort while having a dramatic impact on surface cleaning and preservation. Upon request Multi-Functional Surfaces can be formulated to ensure protection from fire, UV damage, harsh chemicals, extreme temperatures and corrosion. Furthermore, various coatings are structured to eliminate bacteria, viruses, mould and fungi via infused antimicrobial biocides. Using state of the art technology, coatings are chemically engineered to be extremely durable, lasting between 10 days and 25 years depending on the variant selected, despite having a thickness only 40 times that of human DNA or again 1/500th the thickness of a human hair. Located in Laval, Quebec, Canada the MFS Technologies manufacturing facility is ISO 9001/14001 approved and manufactures using cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) procedures, which is a Health Canada prerequisite when manufacturing a product which has a Drug Identification number (DIN) or Natural Product Number (NPN). All products are quality controlled via an in-house microbiology laboratory where samples of every batch are stored for two to five years depending on the variant and project specifications. With product manufacturing, in-house international Dangerous Goods shipping capabilities, 155,000 square feet of warehousing space, microbiology laboratory and on-site physical testing facilities - MFS Technologies is a valuable innovation and development partner to a number of global organizations.

On the opposite side of the scale, most MFStek coatings are designed to resist temperatures upwards of +250°C while specific formulations have been quantifiably proven to resist +600 degrees C.
