The Mess Of Us

The Mess Of Us This is a space where the chaos is welcome, the coffee is strong, and compassion and creativity thrive.

This is behind the mess of Pretty & Witty, MamaRelax, and The Rising Mom-Set Project, where we rise, create, express, and exhale. Whether you're in the thick of motherhood, chasing a creative spark, or just trying to finish a cup of coffee before it goes cold…
You're not alone here.

A lot of us think change means fixing ourselves.

It doesn't.

Real change happens when we change the way we approach our days, our goals, our challenges, and even ourselves.

The goal isn't to spend all your energy fighting old habits.

The goal is to build an approach that makes the habits of the person you're becoming feel natural.

Less punishment. More intention.

Less starting over. More building forward.

What is one thing you've been trying to force that might need a different approach instead?

A few weeks ago, I launched my Month of Moms special and honestly...

I didn’t know what to expect.
But the conversations that came from it?
So real. So honest. So needed.

I’ve talked with moms who feel pulled in a hundred directions. Moms trying to rediscover themselves outside of survival mode. Moms with big goals who just needed someone to help untangle the mental chaos and turn it into a plan.

And I’ve loved every second of it.

With May coming to an end, I have a few strategy call spots left before the special is gone.

60-Minute Mess to Strategy Calls $50 through the end of May (Regularly $75)

This is for you if: You feel overwhelmed but ambitious You know you want more, but don’t know where to start You’re tired of sitting on ideas, goals, or dreams that keep getting pushed aside

Sometimes one solid conversation can create a shift you didn’t even realize you needed.

If you’ve been thinking about booking, this is your sign before the Month of Moms special closes.

Message me “MOM” and let’s talk.

Mother’s Day always felt so big when we were younger.

Like flowers on the counter.
Tiny handmade cards.
Breakfast in bed.
A house full of love and laughter.

And maybe parts of it look different than we imagined.
Maybe some parts turned out even better.
Maybe some parts feel heavier than we expected too.

But I think one of the most beautiful things about motherhood is this:

You don’t fully understand the depth of a mother’s love until one day… you become the one giving it.

So today I want you to pause for a second and reflect on this:

If your younger self could see you today, what do you think would make her smile the most?

Not what’s perfect.
Not what you haven’t finished.
Not the things you think you’re falling short on.

Just you.
Your love.
Your growth.
Your family.
Your strength.

Because I have a feeling she’d be a lot prouder of you than you realize.

Happy Mother’s Day, mama.
And thank you for spending this week reflecting, opening up, and growing with me here. 🤍

This week isn’t just about Mother’s Day.

It’s also a really rare moment where moms actually pause long enough to notice themselves again.

And when that happens, things tend to surface:
burnout you’ve been pushing through
decisions you’ve been postponing
identity stuff you’ve outgrown but haven’t named yet

If that’s coming up for you, I’ve opened up a few 60-minute Mess to Strategy
Calls this week at $25 off for Month of Moms.

It’s a space to sort through the noise and figure out what actually needs your attention right now.

If you want one, just message “CLARITY” and I’ll send you the details.

I heard a mom say something that stuck with me:
“I love my kids deeply, but I don’t know where I went in all of it.”

And that line hits because it’s not about regret. It’s about disconnection.

You can love your life and still feel a little lost inside it.

Both can be true.

Mother’s Day is coming up this weekend.

And before we get into celebration mode,
I want to ask something a little more honest than
“what are you grateful for?”

What part of you do you wish you had more time for?

The part you don’t really talk about anymore.

🤣🤣🤣

A lot of moms don’t realize they’ve slowly shifted away from themselves.

Not in one big moment. But in small, repeated “I’ll deal with it later” decisions.

Later becomes weeks. Weeks become years.

And suddenly you’re functioning… but not really feeling like you.

If you had to guess, when do you think you started feeling a little less like you?

Before we even get to Mother’s Day this weekend,
can we talk about the weight moms carry that no one sees?

It’s not just the doing. It’s the remembering, anticipating, adjusting, and holding everything together in your head.

And most of the time, you don’t even notice how heavy it is until you stop for a second.

So here’s your check-in:
What’s been taking up the most mental space for you lately?

This week hits a little differently.

Not because everything changes on Sunday.
But because most moms start thinking about themselves
A little more this week than usual.

So let me ask you something simple to start us off:
Who are you right now, outside of all your roles?

Not what you do.
Not what you manage.
Just you.

If that question feels a bit foggy, that’s okay.
That’s actually where we start.
