To those of you living in the Oceanside area, the Emergency Weather Shelter is open again tonight and will be until Saturday, so please direct folks there if you know they have no home. The Shelter is located at the Parksville Salvation Army Church and open from 9pm - 8am tonight and 6pm - 8am the rest of the week ♥

Hi again friends :) For those who haven't checked out Rampart Business & Art Centres yet, please do and click the 'like' and 'share' buttons......if you feel led to do so, hahaha.

It is really on my heart to be a part of promoting the French Creek area by highlighting what the business people have to offer to the people of our community and our tourists. It is all about people: serving them and supporting each other!

It has not been an easy year for me establishing Rampart but definitely one of the best. One of my greatest challenges and victories has been the 'overcoming of the unknown' and all of the associated fears & pride. I had no idea that I would so easily and often 'lean on my own understanding' and try to figure things out, LOL. "Be still" and "Trust Me" have been the Words bringing healing, comfort, truth, joy, peace and victory to each situation........ This is just the beginning with so much more learning and growth ahead for me, and this is good.

I am thankful for those of you who have gone ahead of me and that you have so willingly set aside time for me to seek and receive council from you.

French Creek is where Rampart is located, but just as important, there are many businesses established here, nestled (it almost feels hidden) between Parksville and Qualicum Beach. I am personally very thankful that we are able to serve our community/neighbours here in beautiful French Creek as well as being a support and encouragement to each other.

The bustling marine community of French Creek is located on Highway 19A, which runs along the east coast of Vancouver Island beside the open water of the Strait of Georgia.

The photo I chose for your Christmas card is one taken in Beit Sahour which is a historic and beautiful place: it is reputed that this is where the angel announced the birth of Jesus the Christ to the shepherds; David the king was born and tended his sheep here; Beit Sahour is a tiny community east of Bethlehem and whether you are there driving around, or look on the map it appears to be a part of Bethlehem; and, of course, Bethlehem is the location where Jesus the Christ was born.
