🚨FMCSA Removes Three ELDs from Registered List 🚨

Today, FMCSA removed three Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) from its list of approved devices for use in commercial motor vehicles.

“Since January 2025, FMCSA has taken decisive action - removing 67 noncompliant devices that failed to meet federal standards - to protect the integrity of the ELD program, and we will continue to identify and remove any device that falls short,” said FMCSA Administrator Derek D. Barrs

Drivers using the revoked ELD must switch to paper logs immediately. Motor carriers have 60 days to replace the device.

Today, FMCSA removed one Electronic Logging Device (ELD) from its list of approved devices for use in commercial motor vehicles.

“Devices that don’t meet federal standards will be removed from FMCSA’s registered list. Since January 2025, we’ve already taken off more than 56 devices, and we’ll keep going to protect the integrity of the ELD program and to keep America’s roads safe,” said FMCSA Administrator Derek D. Barrs.

Drivers using the revoked ELD must switch to paper logs immediately.
Motor carriers have 60 days to replace the device.

Today, FMCSA removed 14 Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) from its list of approved devices for use in commercial motor vehicles.

Crowsnest Pass RCMP would like to advise motorists about windy conditions currently on Highway 22.

Police are asking trailers, semis and other vehicles that may easily flip to avoid the highway until wind conditions have subsided.

“This action reflects FMCSA’s continued commitment to ensuring that only compliant, reliable ELDs are in use and is part of the agency’s ongoing efforts to remove non-compliant, unsafe devices from operation,” said FMCSA Administrator Derek D. Barrs.
